I think my favorite thing about having girls is the sound of my shoes coming down the hall. Harper selects a simple brown shoe that goes well with most anything.
Hudson on the other hand goes right for the flashy and funky red boots.

Marlee MacGyver Strikes Again

My sister Marlee made the girl's these Valentine's leg warmers for their birthdays.

I am in love with them. I do believe that I could find a reason to put the girls in leg warmers everyday.

Unfortunately...

I have to report some not so great blog news. Yesterday, we lost the baby. It has been a rough few days, an extremely painful day yesterday and the afternoon at the medical center for an emergency procedure. I am doing a lot better. Things are a little rough but I know we will get through this and I feel like this experience will only make me stronger. Thank you for your love and your prayers for our little family. I can't help but think at this time how blessed we are to have three beautiful, wonderful children and the love and support of such great friends and family. Thank You!

The Princess Turns Four

I am about a week late and a dollar short, on February 9th my sweet princess turned four years old. Why are my babies growing up so fast? One more year and she'll be in big kid school. Oh, I can hardly stand it, how do people let their kids grow up? If anyone has figured out a way to stop the process please let me know. I love the stages that my kids are in right now.

Here is the dreaded birthday cake. (note to self: buy the cake next year or con your sister into always making your kids cakes) When Hudsy asked for a heart shaped cake for her birthday, I thought no problem. I am quickly realizing that I am not a baker.

Hudsy was ectastic this year it made me giggle to watch her excitement. I thought she was going to die waiting for everyone to show up for her party. My family came over to enjoy cake and icecream with us. It was so fun for Hudsy to have her cousins come to her "party." Thanks everyone!

Favorite line from yesterday

"Mom, can I play for just a few more minutes? I just have to collect a few more jewels to become a Lady. Right now I am a maiden. If I become a Lady I get a Tiara" ~ Tate in reference to Hudson's princess game that he was playing.

I know many people would be totally freaked out by that statement. It just made me laugh right out loud.

Are you serious another birthday???

Yes, but this one is very important. It is the birthday of one of cutest girls ever!It's baby Harper's 2nd Birthday. (well,... it was on the 5th! I have been a little busy and tired!) Oh my goodness I could eat her up with a spoon. My baby is two *sob* *sob* and growing up too fast. She was just adorable at her birthday, running around, giggling and eating her cake like their was no tomorrow. Man alive! I love this baby girl, I don't want her to ever grow up.

Before the "official party started" we had a little dance party USA in the front room. Can I just say my girls can get their groove on?

Today is Ms. Tenley Bird's Birthday. She was supposed to be born 3 weeks after Harper but she decided that she missed her too much and would much rather be born 3 days after Harper. We love Tenley and all her sweetness. We wish her a very happy birthday with fabulous cupcake's made by her master chef mother.

Happy Birthday to our Nephew Jaron. Jaron is a little monkey that has been climbing things since he was a baby. He is a sweet little boy and we hope that he has a great day today.
